Dr. Katelin Held named 2026 WBLAE Teacher of the Year
White Bear Lake Area High School Language Arts teacher Dr. Katelin Held was named White Bear Lake Area Educators' 2026 Teacher of the Year at an April 28 celebration and recognition ceremony.
Held was chosen from an impressive slate of finalists from throughout the district. Congratulations to Held and to the other five finalists: Alison Davies, Grade 2 at Matoska; Joe Foster, Grade 3 at Vadnais; Erin Samuels, Grade 3 at Matoska; Amanda Vernon, Mathematics at WBLAHS; and Cindi Swenson, Multilingual Educator at WBLAHS.
