istance Learning to be implemented March 30 to May 4

The Governor announced today that all Minnesota school districts must implement a Distance Learning Period from March 30 to May 4. Until we can see each other in person again, hopefully on May 5, we are excited to connect remotely.

School Closed Through March 27 picture

White Bear Lake Area Schools and programs will remain closed through Friday, March 27, following Governor Walz’s direction in closing all schools and instruction in the state for the next two weeks. Instruction is expected to begin again state-wide on Monday, March 30, potentially through distance learning in our district. Learn more.

PLEASE NOTE: This update is now out of date. See the most current message to families, an announcement of distance learning being implemented from March 30 to May 4, here.

Support Hub image

The Support Hub is a new resource available on the district’s website to provide families with necessary information to address barriers and enhance well-being. This support gives families and community members access to information for essential services including crisis response, basic needs, mental health and well-being, physical health, social emotional learning and more.

We are sorry to report that our district continues to be one of many who are experiencing a service outage of FeePay (our online payment provider). We will provide email updates to families as we work through the issues with the FeePay online payment system.

Some changes in the registration systems will impact how families and community members pay for meals, fees, and activities (through FeePay) and/or register for Community Education programs (through Eleyo).
